As the name suggests, the inspiration behind this project comes from the world of beetles.

The Beetle armchair reinterprets some of the characteristics that distinguish these creatures — the exoskeleton in particular, the distinctive “armor” that structures, covers and protects them.
The shapes, sections and subdivisions of the shell, rigid on the outside and lined on the inside with soft cushions, are inspired by that characteristic structure.
Abdomen, thorax and head are thus reinterpreted as seat, backrest and headrest.

The thin metal legs supporting the shell evoke the highly effective limbs and joints of these fascinating and beautiful creatures.

The generous, soft cushioning gives the armchair a warm and inviting feel that welcomes you to sit down and enjoy a moment of relaxation.
