Our project “Naica” won of the “Zanotta & Cristalplant Design Contest 2010“.

Naica is a front sofa low table with double function, storage and charging.

Into the base there is a compartment accessible removing the round top where you can store objects that usually populate the living room such as remote controls, magazines, etc… and a power socket which allows to recharge mobile phones, tablets, wireless headphones, etc…

This functionality is also useful to power a lamp or other devices placed on the table. Their wires will be hidden under the removable top and the overall aesthetic will be preserved.

For outdoor use, the hole on the bottom of the compartment, that allows the insertion of a power socket, allows to drain rainwater.
