Our project “Verve” wins the “Poliform & Cristalplant Design Contest 2012” .
The Verve table is formed by two legs in Cristalplant and a top available in different materials: wood, marble, Cristalplant and more. The shape of the legs stems from the desire to make the most of Cristalplant’s properties and manufacturing processes, without overlooking the challenges of transportation. The result is a monolithic element with a very light profile that can also be transported disassembled from the top.
The legs are deceptively simple yet distinctly characterful.
Formally, the legs are two planes that, through two “ribs”, placed along the vertical axis, give the necessary support to the top.
The overall impression is of two very thin and elegant elements, a direct expression of structural necessity.
The tapered edge of the top keeps the same sense of lightness throughout.
